Erica Buchignani, general manager of the hotel, oversees all departments, including the restaurant. She relies heavily on her department heads for Housekeeping, Maintenance, as well as the Front Desk Manager, as staffing up has been difficult through the pandemic and beyond.
She prides herself on fostering a team atmosphere. “We’re like a big family here and united under the common goal of caring about guests and each other, there’s no operating in a silo here,” she said.
